Tianwaicun Square is comprised of "Round-heaven square" and "Square-earth square".

The round-heaven square is 108 meters in diameter, the length of each side of the other square is 36 meters. Between the two squares there erected 12 dragon pillars that are 7.2 meters high and 0.9 meter in diameter, representing the 12 emperors who came to Mount Tai to offer sacrifices to heaven and earth.

In the middle is the relief sculpture which is 27 meters long and 3 meters wide, reflecting the scenes that Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907)?offered sacrifices to heaven and earth in Mount Tai.

In the middle of the square-earth square, a figure reflecting "Dawenkou Culture" was paved by marbles.

On the balustrades around the square carved poems of famous figures of past generations praising Mount Tai.

Inside the round-heaven square, there are some displaying boards of the scenery of Mount Tai and the ticket office for buses heading for the Middle Heavenly Gate.

The Heaven-earth square is a multi-functional tourist spot for its transportation, information displaying, ticket selling and checking, shopping and the scenery.
