| Recently, the city’s large-scale, eye-catching activities were held one after another in the regions of Xizhan and Tiangangliulin. In a recent land investment promotion seminar, these two regions once again appeared together hand in hand.
According to the city's “one-main, two-subsidiary” development strategy for the central areas, Tianjin will focus on strengthening the building of “Xinzhan region” and “Tiangangliulin region” comprehensive sub-centers, optimizing the layout, upgrading industry functions, improving the culture and livability level, so as to form new patterns of urban development.
Thanks to the construction of the Xizhan center, the Xizhan region is now one of the current hot spots. This beautiful ecological environment located in the northwest of the main center, is the junction of the Ziya River, the South Canal, the North Canal and the Xinkai River.
With this “double core”, made up of the Xizhan center “Comprehensive traffic core” and the Xigu Park “Ecological landscape core”, the region will be developed and constructed based on a number of multi-functional areas, to form a large comprehensive urban sub-center integrating a wide range of services including a traffic center, commercial business, recreation and entertainment, science education and creativity as well as other emerging industries, which will become a construction and economic growth engine in the western part of Tianjin. At present, the region has introduced commercial-oriented land use, with 236.55 hectares of planning land.
The Tiangangliulin region may seem slightly strange, but in fact, this region is located at the eastern end of the main center and is the upstream node of the development and transformation of the Hai River. Its surrounding rail lines run through the central area of Tianjin and the Binhai New Area.
This region is opened to the world, combining commercial exhibitions, business and entertainment, creative industries as well as recreation and housing into one. An exhibition center will be built along the river, and a number of public and commercial distinctive landscape architectures will be made, so as to give the sub-center of the eastern part of Tianjin its shape. The recent introduced 330.06 hectares of planning land is for housing and commercial purposes. |
