China Ocean Shipping Group Company's (COSCO) Tengfei, a Panamanian ro-ro ship installed with 5,000 parking spots and the world's largest solar hybrid photovoltaic power generation system, made its first berth at Tianjin’s Port on July 18.

The ship is the most advanced car carrier owned by a Chinese shipping enterprise. Its solar hybrid power installation, which was put into use on March 22 of this year, is also the first of its kind in China. It unloaded 690 Volkswagen commercial vehicles at the Tianjin Port during its Tianjin tour.
