Yunnan province’s first finance and tourism credit card was issued by the Bank of China recently, Lijiang Daily reported on March 28.

As the first Unionpay card that based on cooperation from tourism and finance industries, it will focus on traveling in Yunnan, with functions such as credit card purchases, e-cash quick payment and two-dimension code ticket.

Although it is a regional card, holders can not only enjoy discounts at over 100 tourist spots in Yunnan and more than 500 merchants in catering, accommodation, shopping and entertainment in the province, but also in nearly 1,000 tourist areas, 100 designated hotels as well as more than 1,000 merchants throughout the country.

The card aims to provide convenient services in traveling, catering, accommodation and shopping.
