Crowdfunding campaign underway to promote Pu’er tea industry

A symposium themed on the title "Introduce Crowdfunding Campaign into Pu'er Tea Industry" was held in Yunnan's capital of Kunming on Sept 13. The event promoted crowdfunding as a potential new mode of revenue generation for the province's Pu'er tea industry.
Lv Jianfeng, the initiator of the Pu'er tea crowdfunding campaign, attended the symposium and shared his experience of launching the Pu'er tea crowdfunding campaign.
Huang Xiaoyuan, the Ancient Pu'er Tea Association's director, pointed out during the symposium that product quality is the core element of launching a good Pu'er tea crowdfunding campaign.
General Secretary of the Yunnan Internet Association, Song Pei, indicated that crowdfunding platforms are rarely utilized from within the tea industry, despite the province’s exceptional tea sources and products.
"A comprehensive crowdfunding system and detailed operation process are important in helping campaign participators gain a better understanding of the campaign's progress," said Song.
Crowdfunding is?the practice of funding a project or venture by raising monetary contributions from a large number of people who, in return, receive exclusive services or products according to their contribution.
