Model agency's anniversary

New Silk Road Model Management recently celebrated its 28th birthday in Beijing with a runway show featuring models and their kids. The event also marked the opening of the China competition for the 67th Miss Wold contest, the 25th New Silk Road Model Competition and the 2017 New Silk Road children model contest.

Italian brand reopens boutique

Italian luxury brand Marni reopened its boutique in Beijing at the China World shopping mall recently. The new store features the brand's womenswear collections. The interior resembles the flagship store in Milan.

Mall holds event for children

China World Mall recently launched a series of summer events for kids. The events are themed around the movie Cars. It will also offer Disney English workshops, sports training and different popup stations. The mall will also host an art exhibition of children's works and art lectures.

Swarovski's new collection

Atelier Swarovski recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with a collection produced in collaboration with designer Christopher Kane. The collection features bracelets and other items designed by Kane for the brand. Swarovski will unveil fall/winter collections done by Jason Wu, Paul Andrew and Iris Apfel later this year.
