Men's Day is not a new concept in China. The holiday was proposed to several years ago without much success. I think it is necessary to set up such a day. Gender rights are often only measured as women's rights here. Chinese men also face issues or feel discriminated against. Several of their rights, including reproductive rights, child custody, marriage, divorce, health and shorter life spans, domestic violence and allegations of rape are much less discussed.
