The Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, China's premier educational facility associated with fashion, Haining China Leather City and Saga Furs announced yesterday the three will jointly build BIFTPARK Haining, a training base for talent in Haining city, Zhejiang province.

A strategic cooperation agreement was signed this June by Haining China Leather City and BIFT Innovation Park, aiming to create the world's first high-level fur professional fashion college and fur design talent training base.

Affiliated with BIFT, BIFT Innovation Park is a training base for fostering innovative talent, which integrates China and the world’s fashion design, cultural exchanges as well as cooperation as a whole. By taking advantage of innovative technology and relying on industrial cluster resources in Haining and surrounding areas, BIFTPARK Haining is committed to being a prominent research and development base with high integration of production and research.

According to Wang Qi, assistant dean of BIFT, BIFTPARK Haining is expected to welcome its first students from BIFT in March, 2018.
