The town of Xucheng is located in Xuyi county, Jiangsu province. In the past, Xuyi county’s agriculture sector was mainly based on traditional farming, livestock breeding, and selling agricultural products. In recent years, the outstanding environment and landscape have brought Xucheng great benefits in its tourism industry, leading to economic opportunities.

The fascinating landscape of Xucheng is crucial to its potential development. People used to make a living through traditional agricultural industries, such as farming, livestock breeding, and selling crops. However, the provincial government has recently suggested developing the tourism sector of Xucheng, expanding the local economy by using its advantages in natural landscape. The benefits gained from ecological agriculture will help to make Xucheng as a new tourist destination in China.

The development of the ecological industry landscaping tourism of Xucheng largely depends on the Chinese mainland-Macao Sannonglebo project and Sishan Lake. Based on establishments of Sishan Lake ecological park, “Qing Niu Shan” agriculture landscaping park, Shagang ecological park and other special agricultural parks, Xucheng has started the construction of Tianlong Mountain’s tourism and Sannonglebo project, developed cooperatively between the Chinese mainland and Macao this year. This project mainly highlights agriculture tourism, focusing on entertaining services for tourists. Xucheng has used the Sannonglebo project as an example to present the technology and conservatory ecology, which helps to improve the agricultural tourism of Xuyi region. In Xucheng, varied parks and zones are categorized with different themes, including wine, fruit picking, fishing, etc. These activities created a highly active ecological park, maintaining certain characteristics of traditional parks, which better represent nature.

The ecological agricultural casual tourism is relied on the Tianlong Mountain tour and Shagang ecological park. Tianlong Mountain touring destination not only offers tourists rich natural landscapes, but also demonstrates ecological elements. The holiday resort is 20,000 sq m in total, composed of villa area, barbeque area, outward training area, and other features. These entertainment facilities have made Tianlong Mountain into a multi-functional and modern ecological resort for relaxed holidays and business conferences. The Shagang area is located in the southwest region of Xuyi County, mainly famous of abundant water resource, good traffic condition, and beautiful environment. It has water area of 3000 mu, including Swan Lake, other ecological parks, and a fishing center. Xucheng has taken full advantages from these conditions to develop its ecological agriculture tourism, which is becoming very popular in the recent years.
