Dalian garment fair kicks off

The 2010 Dalian International Garment & Textile Fair (CIGF) kicked off on Saturday in Dalian, Northeast China's Liaoning province. As a stage connecting the domestic and overseas markets for garment and textile products, it attracted thousands of manufacturers and dealers from 13 countries and more than 20 domestic cities.

During the fair, the Dalian International Brand Agency Center (IBAC) initiated the construction of the China headquarters base for overseas fashion brands. It organized over 40 foreign brands to attend the four-day fair. They will be the first batch of foreign brands to settle in the base.
Local fashion companies, including more than 150 fashion manufacturers from Pulandian, also presented at the fair.
