Agricultural products trade fair opens in Heze

March 6, about 30,000 purchasers of farm products from all over China and from other countries and regions including Russia, Canada and South Korea headed to Heze in Shandong province to participate in the ongoing 6th national agricultural products trade fair.

The fair, lasting three days, has more than 900 booths exhibiting farm products such as fertilizers, seeds, pesticides, agricultural machinery and equipment, as well as advanced agricultural technology. It is expected to attract more than 10,000 participants.

"This show is very nice, and we can get access to world-renowned farm products, ranging from seeds and fertilizer to agricultural machinery. It is very convenient for purchasers," said Fan Chuanzhao, general manager of Sudan (Africa) Huifeng Corporation, who ordered 20 farm tractors from the fair.

"It's the second time we have participated in this fair. Every year it draws millions of famers and dealers, providing us with a good opportunity to promote our products," said Pan Libo, general manager of Canada International Biotechnology Co Ltd.

Activities including agricultural technology training fairs, China fertilizer industry conferences, a competition among farmers and cultural performances will also be held during the fair.

Heze farm products trade fair is the only agriculture-related exhibition supported by the Ministry of Commerce. During the five sessions, it has attracted a total of more than 500,000 customers, bringing in over 3 billion yuan.
