From August 3rd to 4th, the National IP Information Applications and Services Working Conference was held in Harbin. Gan Shaoning, Deputy Director of the SIPO, gave a keynote address. Deputy Governor of Heilongjiang Province, Xu Guangguo attended and also delivered a speech. More than 140 people attended the conference, including leaders from SASAC, National Development and Reform Commission and delegates from relevant industry associations and Intellectual Property Offices of around the nation.

Gan Shaoning pointed out in his address that, in the 11th Five-year Period, the national intellectual property systems and related departments had actively taken effective measures to push forward IP work. The national intellectual property information applications and services have made remarkable achievements. This year is the first year in the 12th Five-year Period. Speakers noted that China is at the threshold of advancing IP information applications and services, all must make full use of the opportunity to promote the IP work and raise it to a new level.
