Xinchang county is located in Shaoxing city, in the eastern part of Zhejiang province. Xinchang boasts beautiful landscapes and rich tourism resources. There are more than 300 scenic spots in the area. Xinchang is home to the Tianmu Mountain National Park, the national 4A-level Big Buddha Temple, and the national water park at Wozhou Lake. It is also the birthplace of Chinese landscape poetry and an important stop on the Poetry Road of the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907).
