On the Business Conference held at the end of 2014, LOVOL International Heavy Industry Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as LOVOL) announced that they have wholly purchased Italy national treasure-class high-end agricultural equipment brand “ARBOS”, and “MaterMacc”, well-known in Europe for its R&D of precision seeder.

After almost a year, on Sept. 15, 2015, LOVOL announced that LOVOL ARBOS Group SpA was formally founded at local time (Bologna, Italy) 11:30. This company will integrate the resources of original LOVOL European Technical Center, ARBOS and MaterMacc Factory, to form a service operation platform with a whole value chain, becoming crucial support for LOVOL exploiting the international high-end agricultural equipment market.

It is reported that the parent company of ARBOS was established in Italy in 1908, and its main products are tractor, harvest machinery and haymaker. Especially during 1970s to 1990s, “ARBOS” was in full flourish for its straw-walker harvester adopting advanced technology and praised as the Italy national treasure-class product. In 1971, the first government delegation after the establishment of Sino-Italy diplomatic relations visited ARBOS during its visit to Italy. Unfortunately, however, due to the influence of Italy macroeconomic environment, the brand “ARBOS” with nearly 100 years of history stagnated in 1995. In 2014, the strong intervention of LOVOL reinvigorated “ARBOS”.
