Founded in 1872, Kimberly-Clark Inc. has been the global leader in field of health and hygienic nursing. Ranked as one of Global 500, its products have been sold to over 150 countries and regions.
Established in 1995, Beijing Kimberly-Clark Hygiene Products Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary in Beijing. In December 2004, Kimberly-Clark (China) ended its work at Hanwei Plaza. Under full supports of BDA government, our plant was relocated to Jian’an Street, No. 2. The new plant covered an area of 30,000 square meters, owned first-class modern production equipment, office facilities, attracted a large number of senior technical and management talents.
Clean and tidy streets, open green space and beautiful workshops left a good impression on every person who came to BDA. BDA has strictly environmental indices for entering the area so as ensure the area environment and regulate the investment orientation from the source. The east is Beijing-Tianjin-Tanggu Expressway and the west next to Liangshui River. North of BDA is 1 km wide city green space and the east a golf course.
In the area, the eastern region is an industrial zone, the western a living area and central area is public buildings area providing a broad space for corporate development. The living area not only has matched shopping outlets and different flavored restaurants, also has schools, hospitals, sport grounds, clubs and so on. All of these provide a full range of services for enterprise staffs, and create a rich and colorful extra-curricular life.
Both positioning and direction of BDA is in line with Kimberly-Clark's development objectives, described as "a vast world with so much to accomplish". After leaving the crowded and bustling CBD, we settled down in a broad and quiet BDA to enjoy life every day.
Choosing to invest and build plants in BDA is because we believe that Kimberly-Clark is "good match" for BDA. During operation for more than 130 years, we have always adhered to the corporate culture of Superior Performance, Exceeding Expectations, Teamwork and Love of Others, In these development philosophies, we have resonance with BDA.
Although the BDA has only a short more than 10-year development history in comparison with Kimberly-Clark's 130 years of history, the BDA's development concept is advanced and pursued by many multinational companies. Kimberly-Clark's long-term goal is to turn it into one of few "world's best" companies. As an industrial park, these cultures and values attract elites from various industries, and BDA is also becoming "the most attractive" industrial park.
After settling down in BDA, Kimberly-Clark has received concerns and helps from relevant departments in aspects of production, operation and management so that it has developed smoothly. Currently Kimberly-Clark Beijing plant has become one of global quality manufacturing bases for Kimberly-Clark.
In 2009, the Beijing plant also maintained the achievements of Asia-Pacific Regional Laboratory Gold Certification. I believe that, down the future development path, Kimberly-Clark Beijing plant will continue to rely on BDA's advantages of policy, talent and environment to achieve a new takeoff.
