Zhan said that Zoomlion's western base will be committed to high-end equipment manufacturing and forming a new industry cluster with over RMB10 billion in output value.

Danish company Grundfos has also chosen Chongqing for its base in Western China. Liu Hongcong, CEO of Grundfos China, stated during an interview with the media that Grundfos had been developing its business primarily in the coastal area of eastern China since it entered the country over 20 years ago. According to Liu, what has been brought to CLJNA this time is Grundfos' Western China headquarters that will integrate production, sales, logistics and after-sales service and provide services to the ten provinces and cities in the western part of China.
