Longmen Bridge wins Gold Award of Chongqing Municipal Engineering

Recently, Chongqing Municipal Engineering Association announced that after nearly six months of submitting, first round examination, second round review, Liangjiang New Area's Longmen Bridge stood out from hundreds of projects, and won the Gold Award of Chongqing Municipal Engineering.
This is the second project in Liangjiang to win a municipal level engineering quality award.
Longmen Bridge is located in Shuitu High-tech Park. It starts at the East of Daxing Road; crosses Zhuxi River and connects with the newly completed Daxing Road. With a length of 222 meters, and a width of 33 meters, it's classified as an urban main road level I.
The project kicked off in May 2012 and opened to traffic in December 2013. Since the project started, it has conquered complex geological structures, construction difficulties and other unfavorable factors. Shuitu Company cooperated with China Railway 17 Bureau Group and Chongqing Tocham Engineering Consulting through careful management, and scientific construction, to ensure that the bridge successfully opened to traffic.
Chongqing Municipal Engineering Association's evaluation of the bridge is: reliable intrinsic quality, good appearance quality, functional to meet the requirements, positive application of the "four new technologies," significant economic and social environmental benefits, reasonable design, leading technology, advanced management, excellent quality, and distinctive work.
The opening of Longmen Bridge provides a shortcut for villagers of Shuitu town and Fuxing town to travel and achieve a seamless connection between the industrial zone of the East Zhuxi River and the living zone of the West Zhuxi River. What's more, it set up a model for project quality standards for future construction.
