Xiamen's Siming district held a Cultural Tourism Industry Investment Promotion Conference on June 24, demonstrating its strong commitment to driving development through cultural tourism initiatives.

The event commenced with an engaging puppet show performance by a traditional art troupe, showcasing Xiamen's unique cultural charm.

During the event, the Xiamen Siming District People's Government entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with the China Tourism Association. This landmark partnership will establish a solid foundation for in-depth collaboration in areas including cultural tourism integration and industry upgrading.

The ceremony also featured the appointment of both cultural tourism industry advisors and official tourism ambassadors for Siming district. By engaging industry experts and prominent figures, the district aims to significantly enhance the influence and competitiveness of its cultural tourism sector.

The event culminated with a captivating presentation by Song Jingjing, one of the newly appointed tourism ambassadors. Through her professional insights and compelling narration, she showcased the district's most picturesque landmarks and unique attractions, perfectly capturing Siming's distinctive charm.

As the political, economic and cultural hub of Xiamen, Siming district has served as the primary host venue for numerous high-profile international events including the BRICS Xiamen Summit, Golden Rooster Film Festival, China International Fair for Investment and Trade, and Xiamen Marathon.
