LONDON - A project named Panda Pals was launched on Thursday in the United Kingdom as two Chinese pandas will arrive at Edinburgh Zoo within the next few weeks.
What if a panda is no longer cute and adorable? Apparently, a grumpy panda can be popular, possibly even more engaging than its charmingly naive-looking counterpart.
In China, most giant pandas live in the mountains of Qinling, Minshan, Qionglai, Daxiangling and Xiaoxiangling.
By the end of 2011, the number of wild giant pandas in the world was about 1,590.
