Vanessa Hudgens too busy to be bride

Vanessa Hudgens doesn't want to marry Zac Efron.

The 20-year-old actress, who has been dating her 'High School Musical' co-star for around three years, wants to concentrate on her career and isn't ready to settle down.

She said: "I think marriage and starting a family is great, but I'm so focused on my career right now that it doesn't really cross my mind." Although Vanessa appreciates the support she has received from her young 'High School Musical' fans, she wants to move on and impress a new generation of moviegoers with "edgier" roles.

She added to People magazine: "The fact that kids look up to me is flattering. But at the end of the day, I want to do R-rated films, and I want to do things that are a bit edgier, so maybe some kids can't see some of them. "I just think it's really important to try different things. I think a lot of people get stuck doing the same routine, and I'm just not content with that. I love trying new things and doing new hobbies and just exploring life."

Vanessa plays a girl who ends up in a mental institution after being abused by her stepfather in 'Sucker Punch'.
