Russia welcomes China's initiatives on building the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road (also known as the One Belt-One Road initiatives).
The "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" will pave the way for the establishment of the Asia-Pacific economic community as well as greatly stimulate the potential to spur rapid economic growth of emerging markets.
China's "Belt and Road" initiative is expected to promote free trade agreement negotiations with countries along the routes, improving the flow of exports and imports.
