Zhang Liangliang reached the final of the men's individual foil in 2005 at the World Fencing Championships in Leipzig, Germany. In Chinese men's foil team, Zhang is not the one who comes up with the best results, but he is definitely the one with the most persistence. At over 30 years old, he has witnessed the rejuvenation of the team and won many world championships, but still committed himself to the sport for the Olympic dream.
