Fund for schools

Shangri-La Hotel, Qufu invited teachers and student representatives from the city's Baicun Village Primary School on Dec 6 to its first Christmas lights ceremony. The hotel donated funds from a charity bazaar by its staff and will donate part of its revenue on Christmas Eve, with more plans to help the school upgrade its facilities.

Asia's 50 Best Restaurants 2014 awards will be held in February 2014 in Singapore. Some world-renowned chefs will share their experience in six unique workshops and a forum on global culinary trends.
