China's self-developed C919 jet takes second test flight

China's self-developed C919 jet has taken off for its second test flight, 146 days after the plane made its maiden voyage, the Commercial Aircraft Corp of China (COMAC) said on Thursday.
The jet took off from Shanghai Pudong International Airport at around 07:20 am on Thursday. It planned to fly to Nantong via Chongming for a more than three-hour-long flight, and it is expected to return to the Pudong Airport at noon.
The plane landed at the airport 10:08 am, COMAC said, a flight time of 166 minutes during to bad weather. In comparison, its maiden flight on May 5 was 80 minutes long.
