BEIJING - President Xi Jinping met with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing Thursday.

Xi said China and the United States share broad common interests and shoulder great responsibility in safeguarding world peace and stability and promoting global development and prosperity.
