Teenagers in Beijing have become fascinated by winter sports and are spending their Sundays at ice hockey clubs as the Winter Olympics host city expands facilities and seeks to widen its talent pool for winter sports.
Six-year-old Wang Zhencheng practiced ice hockey at the Flying Elephant Ice Hockey Club at the Nangong International Ice Sports Center in the capital's Fengtai district for a year. He said he will keep training as he wants to qualify for future Olympics.
