"Ice hockey developed fast in Beijing. Competitions and training sessions for children have improved their spirit of teamwork. And we have seen more kindergarteners coming to try out the sport at the club," the former national team member said.
According to the Beijing government, the Beijing Youth Hockey Club League has organized over 1,200 games since 2021.
