Journalists visit exhibition in advance of CPC National Congress

Some 300 Chinese and foreign journalists paid a visit to the "Forging Ahead in the New Era" exhibit at the Beijing Exhibition Hall on Wednesday morning to learn about the progress China has made since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2012.
The tour was the first outside activity organized by the media center for the upcoming 20th National Congress of the CPC. The center, which opened Wednesday, will organize press conferences and arrange coverage of the congress for reporters.
Journalists from more than 210 domestic and foreign media outlets from more than 80 countries and regions participated in the tour.
