Expats from Canada, India, Iran, Bangladesh and Pakistan visited Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) on June 10 and experienced a day filled with cultural adventures.
Admiring the skyline of SIP from the bank of Jinji Lake, expats enjoyed the city's signature dragon boat race, and visited Xietang Old Street for delicacy and Suzhou Pingtan, a local singing and storytelling style.
The trip concluded with a tour of Archaeological Site Park of Caoxieshan, where expats are immersed in the life of ancient cultures in Suzhou. The trip serves as a vivid presentation of the traditions and heritages of SIP, stirred by Chinese mugwort and the aroma of zongzi in festivities.
