Pop singer Jeff Chang donated 12 pieces of early Shanghai-style Qipao dresses, made in the 1930s and 1940s in Shanghai to the Shanghai Museum from his personal collection on July 24. Selected by the museum's researchers, the precious artifacts will be put on display in a Jiangnan-culture-themed exhibition in the near future, according to Chu Xiaobo, the director of the Shanghai Museum.
