Yang Yuan is one of those migrant workers from Bijie. He works in the medical laboratory of Guangzhou Medical University.
Thanks to a paired labor assistance mechanism between Guangzhou and Bijie, Yang found a job in Guangzhou after graduating from a vocational school in 2018. After that, he studied at Guangzhou Medical University and obtained a bachelor's degree.
Since 2019, Yang has helped popularize medical and health knowledge, participated in multiple trainings and joined research projects with university professors.
"Over the years, I have become more and more adapted to working and living in Guangdong," said Yang. "It is a very inclusive city boasting lots of development opportunities."
