The China Coast Guard conducted law-enforcement patrols in territorial waters and adjacent areas around Huangyan Island in the South China Sea on Friday.
According to a statement released by CCG, it has intensified law-enforcement patrols in those regions since early October.
In accordance with laws and regulations, the coast guard tracked and monitored, issued radio warnings, and blocked and expelled vessels and aircraft involved in illegal infringements and provocations, it said.
The patrols strengthened management and control over the relevant waters and firmly safeguarded China's territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests, it added.
