Global fashion conference in Guangdong releases vision for textile industry

Dongguan is a textile and apparel manufacturing base in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It has introduced policies to promote AI integration into the textile and apparel industry chain, according to Liu Guangbin, vice-mayor of Dongguan.
In response to the global industrial changes, for example, the city introduced policies to grant rewards of up to 1 million yuan ($140,605) to each local enterprise undergoing digital transformation.
"By deepening the integration of industry and research, we will continue to introduce high-end, environmentally friendly, and intelligent textile fabrics," said Liu.
