A deserted boat yard in Qingdao has sparked the creativity in Xue Shenjian.
In stead of letting the boats rot away, this fisherman tried to use the wood from the old boat to make two chairs. To his surprise, the clumsy and solid look of the furniture wooed the market and opened a new business opportunity for him.
Now by customizing furniture and art pieces, he turned the trash into gold.
