"I haven't experienced Chinese New Year before. The courier job gives me a chance to travel a lot and get a taste of this traditional holiday and exchange New Year's greeting," said Jurgen, an Austrian in Nanjing, according to the newspaper.
According to Suning, the expat couriers are trained in Chinese and etiquette before starting the job, and should greet customers with auspicious words as is part of customs on Chinese New Year.
