An arts and crafts competition was held in Shanghai in which more than 1,500 pieces were submitted. The event selected 100 best folk artists, and their works are now on exhibit at Shanghai Baoshan International Folk Arts Exposition in Shanghai. Exquisite crafts such as paper-cut, bamboo weaving, wheat straw patchwork, dough figurine and hairline engraving are a visual feast for visitors to the exhibition.
