Q: How much will be the maximum Grant?

A: Article 5 of the Measures provides that “the Special Grant shall be centrally used to support patent applications in a foreign country which has a protection type equal to the invention patent of China. For each patentable project, patent applications in not more than five countries (or regions) may be supported. The amount granted shall be not more than 100,000 Yuan for each country (or region), except for projects with major innovations.” So, each patentable project can be granted not more than 500,000 Yuan.
