During the charity event, the Kempinski Hotel Guiyang sold slices from an 80-meter stollen bread to raise money for the primary school students of Hezhang county, Guizhou province.

The activity set a record for the longest bread in Southwest China. After nearly three hours, 26,000 yuan ($4,178.72) was raised in total and donated to primary school students in Hezhang county.
"The Kempinski Hotel Guiyang will continue to play an active role in charity to enhance the sense of social responsibility,"said Fuat Koroglu, general manager of the Kempinski Hotel Guiyang. Also, Kempinski believes that its involvement in charity will be a very effective branding promotion method to spread its corporate culture of "People Oriented" to the public.
