13. Node Planning and Design of "Six Corridors and Nine Blocks" of Water System Surrounding Langfang City
I. Project Content
The project calls for the design and construction planning of landscapes for "Six Corridors and Nine Blocks" of a water system surrounding Langfang City.
II. Project Background
Since 2005, Langfang City has begun to plan and construct the water system. Now it has completed two projects: Conceptual Planning for a Water System and Landscape of Langfang City and Regulatory Planning for a Long River Water Canal around the city. The general idea for a water system is, with the support of Long River and Feng River, to utilize the present river ways of Dapiying Diversion Canal, Bagan Canal, Liugan Canal and Jiugan Canal to build the inner landscape ring, special middle ring and ecological outer ring. Within this concept of a water system culture, plans are to build six landscape corridors focusing on the themes of environment, history, culture, science and technology, nature and Dragon culture. There will be nine landscape blocks: a cultural block, celebrity block, folk art block, scientific technology block, cafe block, Dragon block, music block, four-season block and ecological block.
III. Project Object
With support of urban ecological surroundings, it will form the urban landscape of "six corridors and nine blocks," consisting of six landscape corridors and nine landscape blocks, to create a livable city with a beautiful landscape.

14. General Planning of Olympic Park, Langfang City
I. Project Content
The planning and research for this project can be divided into two stages: project planning and general planning. At the first stage, by analyzing and studying the general development strategy, the physical recreational industry strategy and the project operation strategy, the plan will incorporate general development ideas for the project. At the same time, and without changing the general planning of the green belt, the planning should combine features of small three-point groups and choose several nodes to determine the function orientation and distribution suggestion of the Olympic Park. This planning stage is essentially complete. On the basis of the planning stage, using the large green belts between the "three-point groups" in downtown Langfang for background studies, the general planning is designed to utilize physical culture to protect the environment and then develop the city through environmental protection. With a focus on environmental protection and sports, a belt forest park for sports and recreation will be planned which is linked by a leisure runway in the original form of the three-point groups. Six districts with themes will be introduced to form a green corridor. The green belt will be changed into a multi-functional urban space on the basis of keeping original urban function so as to develop the land value, improve its social and economic benefits, optimize the residential environment and upgrade the city quality.
II. Project Background
According to the development orientation of the plan called "Jing-Jin-Ji Electronic Information Corridor, Recreational Business Center of Bohai Rim," and the city's theme of "garden pattern, environment protection and modernization", the plan fully utilizes the advantage of convenient trade with Beijing and Tianjin and capitalizes on the regional cultural resource and existing resources of Langfang City. The plan will attract rich consumption resources of sports and recreation in Beijing and Tianjin, and plans actively to construct a 10,000-mu (666.66 hectare) international forest park for sports and recreation.
III. Project Object
Promote national fitness activities, integrate urban tourism resources, upgrade the city's international reputation and accelerate the development of the city's modern service industry to build Langfang into a city embracing environmental protection, forests, health, sports and recreation.

15. Urban Underground Space Utilization Planning of Langfang City
I. Project Content
The urban general plan evaluates the development of urban underground space and determines the development scale and major economic technological targets. The plan determines the function of the urban underground space development, distributes the space rationally and fixes the planar and vertical planning. The plan will propose planning principles and controlling requirements for all special underground spaces, including concrete planning for underground traffic systems (such as underground street passage, underground, light rail, etc.), underground public spaces (underground parking lots, civil defense facilities) and underground municipal facility systems.
II. Project Background
To strengthen the management of developing and utilizing the urban underground space, develop the urban underground space resources rationally, and meet the requirements of city modernization and sustainable development.
III. Project Object
The project's objective is to promote urban functions, conserve space, improve urban space capability and operation efficiency, introduce an urban development pattern of intensive land use, and coordinate the construction between underground and above-ground projects to provide the foundation for underground space development and construction. The goal is to create the rapid and healthy development of the urban social economy, and provide support to create a livable urban environment.
