He is now the director of the standing committee of the 16th Wuxi People's Congress and secretary of the Wuxi Party leadership group.

Zhao Zhixin was born in Haimen, East China's Jiangsu province, in June 1959. With a postgraduate education from the Jiangsu Provincial Party School, Zhao started work in July 1982 and joined the CPC in April 1987. He is now the deputy director of the standing committee of the 16th Wuxi People's Congress and deputy secretary of the Wuxi Party leadership group.
