Women just have a natural need for structure. They take more responsibility for their environment than men. Men are often very immature and don't manage the household well, but women are great at doing this.

Anyway, if your husband isn't clean and you want him to do more housework, just ask him to do it together with you (don't be frustrated if it doesn't work the first 10 times you ask him - it takes years) the husband probably just didn't consider it to be important.
