Located in the gulf of Tonkin, an arm of the South China Sea, Weizhou Island is also the country's biggest and youngest volcanic island. The island boasts a volcano relic, unspoiled seawater, wildlife and an extensive list of marine products, such as sea cucumber, abalone and cuttlefish.
