Qingdao. Dusk sets over Qingdao city, East China's Shandong province, May 11, 2013. Surrounded by the sea on three sides, modern Qingdao is considered one of the most livable cities in China. The city also features exotic foreign architecture as a remnant of the colonial Germany and Japan influence. During summer weekends, the beaches can get very busy, especially in late August, when annual Qingdao International Beer Festival is held to celebrate the city's brewing history.[Photo/IC] |
