I'm a 24-year-old professional and recently started dating a woman who has a kid; I have none. I've thought long and hard about it and unfortunately have decided I cannot raise someone else's kid. It's a shame because she is an amazingly wonderful girl who I would love to settle down with. However, as much as I've wrestled with it, I cannot bring myself to raise someone else's child. Now I unfortunately have to break up with her. To others I would say: Do not put yourself in this position.

What surprised you the most in China?	Should Chinese care about "face"?	Laowai, is the term offensive?
